Getting in Shape this New Year, Hebrew New Year That Is

I am trying to establish an exercise routine. I use Fit2b for the basics, but I am working on Dynamic Aging by Katy Bowman, too. I was doing really well, then I sprained an ankle. And basically had to quit for about six weeks. I own Beth’s 5x5 Challenge . It features five different exercises each five times and then repeat that sequence five times. By the end of the week you have exercised all the major muscle groups. I have gotten up to three repetitions, but I am shooting for the full five and adding in the weights. I am starting with two reps. I do those first thing in the morning as a warmup for the day. . Later in the day I am starting with the Foundational Five for review and then plan to add the Beginning Workout Path . I will probably keep up a couple of the basic exercises and the alignment workouts. I really need to get my head back over my shoulders instead of leading with it. My Gym Membershp

OK, you just got your new Medicare plan with its free gym membership, or free CD’s, or free equipment. How exciting!! You plan to go at least once a week starting the new year of right. Reality check. You have to drive to the gym. It’s snowing or icy and you hate to drive in that. Maybe tomorrow. Then you sign up for a time for someone to show you how to use the equipment., right after the really sweaty, smelly guy gets off.   The classes are at odd times or they are not interesting for one reason or another. You looked at the CD/DVD options, and they have the same one you got last year. Or something for people more/less active than you are. The equipment you already have or is so cheap as to be essentially worthless. There is a better option. For less than the cost of driving to your “free” gym, You can be a member of an online gym . No weather issues getting there. No gas or parking issues. No one else’s sweat is on your equipment. The lessons on use are right the
